Welcome to the Florida State Society of the National Society Daughters of Colonial Wars (NSDCW). We are a lineage society which honors our ancestors who served in the various conflicts which occurred between France, Britain, and Spain and their respective colonial possessions. We are celebrating 85 years of service in 2024!
Qualifying Service Includes:
Mayflower Ancestors
Tarrantine War (1607-1615)
Pequot War (1637)
King Philip's War (1675-1676)
King William's War (1689-1697)
Queen Anne's War (1702-1713)
Drummer's War (1721-1725)
War of Jenkins' Ear (1739-1748)
King George's War (1744-1748)
French and Indian War (1755-1763)
Lord Dunmore's War (1774)
Are you a female at least 18 years of age who is lineally descended from an ancestor that lived during the period from the Jamestown Colony in 1607 to the Battle of Lexington in 1775 and participated in qualifying service as outlined here? Are you interested in preserving that period of history, promoting patriotism and loyalty to country, and enjoying the fellowship of others that share those beliefs? Then please join us!
The Florida Society meets three times per year in the Central Florida area. At least one meeting per year is done virtually or in a hybrid format to allow Daughters across the state to participate. For more information or to join, please contact the Florida State President.
